Zillertal 300

The Ski Zillertal 3000 network is quite new, having only been in place for a few years. The huge ski area of Mayrhofen currently consists of Ahorn, Penken Mayrhofen, Penken Finkenberg, Rastkogel, and Eggalm. The region included the towns of Schwendau, Mayrhofen, Finkenberg, and Tux. It was situated in the Tux Alps on the western flank of the Zillertal, or its continuation southward in the Tuxertal. It presently consists mostly of the Horbergtal, the Penken (2095 m), the Wanglalmen, the Lämmerbichl, and the slopes of the Eggalm to the northeast below the Grüblspitze (2395 m), following the amalgamation of many formerly separate ski areas.
